Ora Lattea Collection
Because not every timepiece has to be foreboding and serious, Denis Guidone's watches play with the traditional expectation of what a timepiece should be. Designed in collaboration with Italian product brand Nava Design, his four contributions–the Ora, Ora Lattea, Ora Unica, and Tempo Libero–all feature unique design cues, signaling (sometimes with the use of traditional hands) what the time is. The Ora Lattea uses dots, placed where a traditional hand would usually be.
The hands are represented by 2 points. Somewhat recalling the image of the solar system, the biggest dot represents the hour and the smallest dot represents the minutes. The dot in the center remains fixed.
