By 2025, we may see astronauts walking on the lunar surface once again, thanks to advancements in technology, which will allow for more detailed exploration and inspire future generations of space explorers.

The M1's seconds movement features an innovative 3D moon that rotates in a luminous glory, serving as a seconds counter that’s in constant rotation when fully charged. The Swiss Superluminova coating and special printing technology bring the centerpiece to life, creating a truly groundbreaking design.
To achieve the cratered effect on the moon's surface, we utilized embossing techniques. However, the curved edges of the case back presented a significant challenge in the stamping process. After numerous trials and adjustments, OVD successfully overcame this obstacle, resulting in a concave case back that fits comfortably around the wrist. The M1's case design, drawing inspiration from space stations, features 316L stainless steel with a fine sandblasted finish. The case shape is specifically crafted to house an extremely domed sapphire crystal, giving it a futuristic appearance reminiscent of a space station.
OVD invested a significant amount of time and effort into perfecting the design of the 3D rotating moon, which involved addressing various challenges such as weight, timekeeping, material selection, color calibration, and shock resistance. The most critical aspect of the process was the assembly of the moon, as it required their skilled technicians to use their extensive experience and focus to complete the intricate assembly process.

Watches.com has been shipping worldwide since 1999 and we ship internationally daily. Most orders are processed and shipped out by 5pm (MST) Monday through Friday on regular business days. Payment/fraud verification is typically instantaneous, but in some instances may take up to 48 hours. Orders placed/received after 12:00pm (MST) will be usually be processed the next business day. Please be aware that UPS does not deliver on weekends.
Because customs fees vary by country, we do not collect duties during checkout. If duties are due, your customs agency will let you know when the package arrives in your country. It is your responsibility to pay these fees to your country.
Once items are shipped, liability is covered by the terms of the carrier. We will ship to the address specified by the customer. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn and in the same condition that you received it (including any protective stickers still on it). It must also be in the original packaging.
